In Australia’s first report dedicated to sparkling wine”
The Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival was on last week and it was a great success.
This is the second year for this event organised by Margot Natolli and staged at Wahroonga Park and she is to be commended on bringing together such a worthwhile event.
Thirty wineries, ten gourmet food stands and 154 local musicians and school bands turned the festival in to a huge success on a beautiful warm and sunny afternoon in Wahroonga.
We were very lucky to attend the Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival last Sunday. This is the second year we’ve gone, and I was impressed with how well run it all was – short queues, lots of seating and a great variety of stalls.
We kicked off the day with a bit of breakfast – Chicken Noodle Salad from Jimmy Liks Street Food. Great to see this former Kings Cross favourite is still serving their fresh Asian fare at various markets across Sydney.
Two weekends ago I was lucky enough to attend the 3rd annual Wahroonga Food and Wine Festival.
After just jumping off a plane from Turkey it was the perfect way to escape again, with vendors from some of my favourite destinations in Country New South Wales.
I sampled some delicious food and wine which I am sharing with you today so that you can mark this one down for next year.
